Designed with an emphasis on regional materials and a strong connection to the Ozarks, The Compton Hotel in Bentonville, Arkansas, features locally quarried Phenix stone throughout its interior and exterior spaces. Phenix pavers, dimensional stair treads, and landscape boulders create a seamless transition from the surrounding streetscape into the hotel. Inside, Napoleon Gray® forms the reception fireplace hearth and desks, finished with hand-chiseled edges that recall the raw character of quarried stone. Large-format Fleuri floor tile extends through the reception before transitioning to a smaller format in the all-day café. At the heart of the hotel, Phenix stone anchors the two-story atrium in a reimagining of an Ozarks river bluff, fabricated by Quarra Stone and complemented by Phenix boulders, a monolithic stone bench, and Fleuri floor tile.
